That he was imprisoned in a digital reality where he was a history teacher who made his own soap?? That his kids missed him after he died slightly more permanently so they made an alien robot with his memories and personality??? Yeah he was even ghost rider for like five minutes

every so often i remember how awesome the modern interconnected multicultural world is. i grew up getting to hear fairy tales from all over the world. africa, asia, europe, america. everywhere in between. i can have bagels for breakfast, curry for lunch, and ramen for dinner without even leaving the city limits. music and art and philosophy and technology that originated thousands of miles and years apart from eachother have come together and interwoven into something greater than the sum of its parts. its hard not fall into despair when thinking about the horrors but god. god the wonders.

you can have friends on the other side of the planet! neither of you even has to travel!!!!! you can just talk to them whenever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love the idea of King Arthur having incredibly advanced and anachronistic knowledge of certain things and average dark ages knowledge about others. Because he was educated by Merlin. Camelot has incredibly good sanitation and disease prevention measures but King Arthur also thinks the sun revolves around the earth because that’s what Aristotle said and Merlin didn’t think it was worth unpacking.

Camelot being remembered as this bastion of excellence and plenty and its knights being renowned for their almost supernatural fighting abilities because Arthur had some idea of germ theory and nutrition so the court was thriving in comparison to the rest of Europe.
