and if your rebuttal goes along the lines of "i know where the line goes for me, but i would never assume it on anybody else" that still plays into the same contradiction. you genuinely do not live in a vacuum, and any line you draw is going to have a ripple effect on the lives of people around you, especially when the cut off point perfectly aligns with the general expectations people already have.
