it’s always like ”what someone else does to their appearance doesn’t affect you”. but it does though. that’s how social norms work. if everyone does [x] then [x] will be expected of me too. and i selfishly don’t want a lower salary for not wearing makeup, for not dying my hair when it goes grey, for not getting fillers.
It’s all “humans are social creatures!” And “our actions don’t exist in a vacuum” from liberals, but when radical feminists point it out in a way that hurts the feelings of women who conform to gender roles, suddenly their individualist colors come through
