internally, you must start adding “and they still can’t stop us” to the end of every dismaying statistic about rape, male violence, and woman-hating. 1 in 9 girls are sexually abused, and they still can’t stop us. a woman is killed by a partner or family member every 10 minutes, and they still can’t stop us. the global pay gap is still wide, we have not achieved gender parity in global politics, etc etc etc, and they still can’t stop us. women & girls can’t be stopped. we carve out our lives and make change. we are at war and many individual battles are lost, the suffering is enormous. but women will win the war (and are winning across the eons), because everything they’ve done so far hasn’t been able to put a dent in the collective female spirit, which is evident when you look at the curve of human history and how we never give up on improving, inventing, innovating, changing life for the better

i think its so funny how europeans get angry at most basic american customs like tipping for table service or smiling at strangers when you make eye contact. it’s not going to hurt you to smile

Idk about how strip clubs go here but i don’t think that would be percieved as tipping anyway. The kind of men that would go there though are the kind of men who will tip just to flex on others. Idk something about it is crass to me.

this all goes back to how sometime around the late 90s/early 2000s they stopped making people born in the 90s and switched over to making people born in the 2000s. it's not a coincidence

It's important to remember that "neurotypical" just means "still able to cope with society's demands and expectations well enough to avoid being psychiatrized". It doesn't refer to some idealized super human who doesn't have any problems, doesn't struggle with anything, never does anything weird and who thrives under the status quo.
