I think that some people close their eyes to very obvious ways that men try to discredit their victims because those methods complicate their simplistic view of the world, and they need to open them back up.

It is not insane or racist to say that different men use different methods to discredit their victims based on their victims race, weight, wealth, religions, previous job - pick a way to to differentiate between one woman and the next, and you have got a new way to discredit a female victim.
