me: im disabled and have limits

from my own experience and also from what i hear from others, the issue seems to stem from a fundamental misunderstanding of how i know my limits. i know because i have discovered and tested them. i push them sometimes, carefully. and occasionally i get ok results or at least nothing bad happens. but sometimes something does happen, so i MUST respect my limits.

When my kids were small, I'd set a duvet cover on the floor, toss sleeping bags inside to make resting mats, and point a fan right at the entrance so it would puff up like a balloon. We'd read and have snacks in there for hours, and the kids would even nap sometimes. If anyone got cold from the direct wind, it felt super cozy to use a light blanket in there.
