walked up to bus stop that only one person was standing at: beautiful androgynous person with long hair in all black with a graphic t shirt, and as I walked up to the stop they started walking away from it (in my direction) and made eye contact and gave me a very familiar and friendly hey (with a voice of a tone I didn’t expect)

before transitioning I was upset about the idea of losing the automatic female friendliness but now I realize that there’s both a 1) long hair man solidarity and 2) androgynous person (especially with long hair) friendliness which are like both more warm and affectionate than the friendliness you get from other women just for being a woman. so it’s okay. also women still like me anyways
