Hey. It took me a couple of days bc there is only so much of me to go around.

It will be all right. Maybe not soon. It might take a while. But it will be okay, sooner or later. I promise.

It wasn't close I beat the pants off that man, and others like him. I did it more than once. Some guys got humble and stayed. One guy got angry and stormed out.

And I think about that every fuck damn time I hear that bullshit, which seems to be all the fuck over the place these days. Oh, women are just fragile little soft delicate flower creatures who can't do ANYTHING and could NEVER compete with big strong manly muscular strong MEN.

I think about driving that dude into the mats and seeing the brutal reality of this big dude's misogany meet the realization that a woman was beating his ass literally that second, that none of his strength could stop the fact that I'd just hip thrown him facefirst into the mats and that had I actually connected with the axe kick to his neck I would have crushed a bunch of important shit and he could not stop me, and his whole psyche collapsing like a dying star in that moment.

Class is coed we don't fuck around with weight classes. No one has time for that. Sparring is coed. I do, in fact, fight people who are bigger and physically more powerful than me. Regularly. The dude I came up in the ranks alongside is 6' 1" and 215 pounds and lifts weights. He's the same rank as me and I still take him down and beat him in sparring frequently. It's probably a 60/40 win ratio for sparring favoring me; he has a habit of hesetating before he goes for an opening that we are working on yet. If he gets over that it'll be probably an almost perfect 50/50 win ratio between us because, again, equal training. The small advantage in strength/size literally does not matter.

I've bounced around dojos for 20 years and I have won multiple martial art and knife fighting tournaments.

I'm AFAB (my gender is fluid), 5'2", 90 lbs, and have a chronic illness.

I routinely beat people who could (and in one notable instance did) bench press me. I learned how to use my small size to my advantage. I train hard to.

But people laugh when I mention that I won those (especially the knife fighting) because I'm tiny. I've fought trans women, trans men, men big enough that I could hide my entire body behind one of their thighs, and beat them all. Lost to all of them too.

In the end, it comes down to skill and luck, but I am going to bow to anyone I am about to fight. They all deserve respect.

❎ kneidelach - forgot to kasher my measuring cups so I'm waiting for that to be done

Also house: needs to be 20% less weird before cleaning service comes. Need to hide the gold booty shorts and at least one of my dress forms. I should probably also hide like 50% of my knife collection.

Candles and candle sticks acquired.

Fridge needs cleaning out tonight.

Grocery shopping list generated. It must sit within my sight line for 24 hours so I can periodically check it because I have ADHD and will forget at least three things I need on it on it before tomorrows shopping trip otherwise.

Wine sourced, need to pick it up.

Bonfire to destroy boxes hanging around the house? Planned for this evening.

Pots/pans cleaned. I am avoiding dealing with the dishes by using paper plates. I took over hosting with less than three weeks to prep, I am taking any shortcut I can get.

Food dishes delegated. I am doing all the shopping, but I only need to make the charoset, apps and veggies. Thank g-d for my sister, who can actually cook and who agreed to do the heavy lifting if I surrendered my kitchen for part of the day.

Charoset planned for tomorrow. It needs to soak.

Video call for my elderly grandparents who will miss the seder because my 93 year old grandfather broke his hip on vacation arranged. Thank g-d for my uncle, who flew out and can help.

Still negotiating with the hospital about what we can do to give them an impromptu seder plate.

Backup plans for when my dad inevitably messes something up? Check.

Now, should the leftists here hold their nose and vote for dogshit Gavin? Probably.

"I will never vote for democrats unless they give me everything I want first and will never praise them or reward them for efforts to please me if it doesn't 100% succeed beyond my wildest dreams" is, in fact, a recipe for Democrats swinging further towards moderates and independents and efforts to peel off never-Trump Republicans since.

There is a party that is established, and has made clear they support the rich. I decided to donate my effort to a party for working people, even if it doesn't succeed for me. I want to believe that we don't have to accept the rules dictated to us. That we can insist the rules change.
