and the whole time im just thinking how different the job im trying to quit would have reacted. i would have been fully ignored, scoffed at, mocked. like i can see the exact face any of my managers would have pulled if i told them. it would not have been covered by the company, and they definitely wouldnt offer to cover it. if they did it would be truly out of obligation and not an actual desire to do right by me or save me from medical bills i mightve had.
