Our prayer to the goddess
Found footage horror movie but instead of the monster attacking the crew it just steals the camera and the rest of the film is the crew chasing the monster to get the camera back

Forcing schools to out students six weeks after learning about their sexual orientation puts LGBTQ+ youth in danger. Florida schools should be a place where kids feel supported, not scared.Â
This bill already required schools to inform families that their children identify as LGBTQ+ upon coming out. Outing students was not a requirement when believed that doing so might lead to abuse, neglect, or abandonment. With this amendment, there is no longer a way around it.
This bill will force children to hide who they are in fear of being outed. Our youth will be at an even greater risk of abuse, neglect, and even homelessness. This bill is dangerous for LGBTQ+ students and harmful to education.
Floridaâs Donât Say Gay amendment is not okay. Do better, Ron DeSantis.Â

kweer people deserve better than to have radfems and other queerphobes turn the word they use to identify themselves + connect into a slur against people who identify as queer.
For those of you who donât know, kweer is an actual identity and has been misappropriated by REGs etc.
Mod Bethany
Itâs actually a term used by Asian communities. But you know go off I guess.
itâs used by multiple groups Mod Bethany because itâs literally just an alternative spelling of âqueerâ donât be dense
https://drum.lib.umd.edu/bitstream/handle/1903/9567/Sapinoso_umd_0117E_10599.pdf
Anywho, the spelling âkweerâ is specific to Asian communities
For anyone still confused, you can quickly read through this and find stuff like this
@ the anon in my inbox who wanted a source for kweer being a term used by poc, here you go. also if youâre willing to wade through some radfem bullshit you can also just check the #kweer tag and see the way the term is (properly) used + who is using it.
I did not know this, but it says A LOT that the way people on tumblr use it made me think it was made up as a slur against queer folk. And for all intens and purposes theyâre using it as a slur ignorant of this.
Fucking disgusting.
Good post OP.
Also of note - spellings of kweer as âkuerâ and/or âkuiaâ are used in various places in East Asia, in languages that use hanzi. Itâs pronounced the same way.
@asexuelf Saw you got an ask about this, would this source work?
This is where we're at...
Tik-tokers are using Grindr to out Olympic athletes.
The only reason I heard about this is because I subscribe to Queerty's email list, and I decided that this needs to be made more publicly known.
So far several athletes have already had their names, faces, and other information plastered all over tiktok and other social media through this outing campaign.
Guys.
This is going to get people KILLED.
Not everywhere is the US. In fact, as much as the US sucks in terms of LGBTQ+ rights, it's WORLDS better than some other places.
Some of these athletes, if outed, will not be able to return to their country for risk of being ostracized, losing any form of employment, being beaten, being imprisoned/forced into a tortuous work camp, or outright killed, with no repercussions. In some of these countries not only is this legal, being gay is illegal and the punishment is death. I can not stress this enough.
Outing someone in the US can be horribly dangerous, and no matter what it's wrong. But it's important to realize that doing this could not only ruin lives, but end them. No exaggeration.
In the best of circumstances, outing someone is wrong. Not everyone is ready or able to share their truth for a number of reasons, and some people simply don't want to be out (I think that idea gets forgotten a lot on here). In some parts of the US it can even be dangerous, however, the difference is we as a country have deemed murder illegal. In other countries, if you so much as look "too gay", you could be in danger from anyone on the street, and the law will side with them, not you.
Furthermore, using Grindr for this makes it all the more despicable, if that's even possible. You are infiltrating what is supposed to be a queer safe space and turning it into one more dangerous, hostile environment, thereby robbing it's users of the resource.
I sincerely hope that I'm preaching to the choir here, because this is disgusting, and I don't think that should need to be said.

how does this get even worse

We have another oneâŚ
PEOPLE HAVE ASKED WHY DO I HAVE PORTUGUESE AS A DISCIPLINE TOO THIS TAKES ME O U T
Me in one of those witchy bookstores with a friend- âYeah, Iâve been trying to like, dig up everything I can on Jewish folk magic. Itâs pretty neat!â
Chick across the table from me, holding a book on Wicca- âYou know, thatâs cultural appropriation.â
Me, wearing a big ass Magen David I got from my grandfather and fighting the urge to say âShalom to you too, bitchâ
Not to be a downer but pls dont use "hyperfixation" if you dont have ADHD! Same goes for autism and special interest
it's on? my about page?? that i have adhd???
like you really just,,,, automatically assumed? that i was using the word incorrectly??
Ah, tumblr, where a man can get accused of appropriating his own neurodivergence.
Though, quite frankly, even if you didn't have it listed in your bio, I'm tired of this shitty toxic tumblr culture that pressures people to list all their disabilities on their profile to avoid getting called a faker.
Forced disclosure is fucking toxic, and people with ADHD aren't the only people with hyperfixations, nor are people who are autistic the only ones with special interests.
Plus, let's be really clear: those terms are accessibility anchors for diagnosis. If you have a special interest, you may not be autistic, but if you realize that you're going from special interest to special interest, and that you really do have special interests rather than just liking stuff, maybe you're autistic!
And since ADHD and autism have stunning under-diagnosis rates, especially among Black and brown folx, CAFAB folx, otherwise-disabled folx, and a ton of other intersections, making those terms common and commonly-understood and not rigidly policing their use actually helps people figure themselves out.
I wasn't diagnosed as autistic until I was 35, and I just got my ADHD diagnoses & medication this year, at 43. I don't know if I would ever have gotten the assistance I needed, or started working on my own accessibility without much help from doctors, if I hadn't been surrounded by a community that helped me understand myself by using those terms.
Seriously, though, Forced Disclosure is toxic, stop gatekeeping useful terms, no one owes you (anon) an explanation of why they're using terms like special interest or hyperfixation.
The only one being a 'downer' here is you.
Putting on my âI am a for real therapist who makes diagnoses as part of my daily job routineâ hat here.
FIRSTLY, Vaspider is right about everything.
Additionally, diagnosis for autism is a checklist. A CHECKLIST. You meet a certain number of criteria and you get a diagnosis. Thereâs no magic or deep algorithms involved. Thereâs specialized language, and nuance to standards, which is why professionals are helpful, but at the end of the day, if Iâm diagnosing an adult or adolescents with autism, itâs based first and foremost on their own SELF REPORT. As in I say âhey do you experience X?â and they say âyes, and it causes things to be hard for meâ. This isnât rocket surgery.
The criteria for diagnosis has changed within your lifetime. Itâs changed during my career. These diagnostic criteria are not carved in stone and frankly the conversations about what gets included in the DSM and what doesnât are laden with politics, power moves and other less-than-scientific forces.
All this to say that someone might genuinely, legitimately struggle with a number of ADHD or autism traits and not meet diagnostic criteria. That doesnât mean they donât HAVE them, it means if I want the insurance company or employer to pony up some support I need to come at it from a different angle. We can still work on those issues IF those issues are causing harm to the client in question. (I honestly do not give a shit whether their parents or whatever think special interests or hyperfixations are annoying. They can go suck eggs.)
So NO, you canât reasonably say that only ppl who jump through the correct gatekept hoops get to use those words, because those are NOT the only people who have those experiences. Pretending otherwise hurts a wide array of people and makes accurate care even more difficult to access.
/end soapbox
This is all very good but I do have to say I especially agree with the 2nd paragraph.
Someone made an engagement map for TERF tweets
Yâall in the notes please be mindful when you say stuff like âitâs time to kill the British.â The people suffering the most from British transphobia are....British trans people.
^^^^^ for serious. British trans folks rarely get to transition at all, and when they don't they're often denied any social transition period. TERFs in the UK aren't here to start laws against people in America, they're trying and succeeding to kill off trans people in the UK. This really isn't the situation to cram on the brits to look and feel better about yourself... the trans body count is tremendous over there. Please have some respect for the people actually effected.
Our horrible little Plague Island isn't as bad as you may think
Whilst a stubborn minority of transphobes continue to fuel rising discrimination against trans and non-binary people, they are just that: a minority. When you look at the data, what you find is that trans rights â from basic sympathy for trans people to support for self-identification and toilet access â have clear support across society, especially amongst women and young people.
Britainâs reputation as TERF Island isnât wholly unfounded, writes Stats for Lefties founder Ell Folan. The good news, though, is that trans
I really believe there's some sort of "emperor's new clothes" phenomenon happening with Gen Z discoursers where they're too afraid to question the logic of some of the discourse being thrown at them for fear of appearing to be unwoke so they just blindly parrot it not to be excluded by their peers
not just a Gen Z thing, like thatâs a valid criticism of tumblr few years back, and Iâm not ashamed to admit it sucked me in too. people can say whatever shit they want as long as they use the right vocabulary and an agressive tone that just implies that disagreement is out of the question. it sinks in because you will get similar messages about legitimate issues and sometimes from the same people.
The emperor's new discourse.
"Only perverts and bigots can't see the logic of this post."
I'm nervous to say this but it's currently eating me up and I have to get it out... And you're the only other person I know who talks about this. But the first time I saw someone call the ways TERFs hurt tme trans people "collateral damage," it hurt so badly. It makes me feel so insignificant. I have many thoughts right now, but the thing that's hurting the most is like...
The tme trans kids in the UK who can't get HRT or surgery anymore... Specifically because of JKR and her TERF cronies... They aren't collateral damage! They aren't! How the hell is that collateral damage? How is it collateral damage for any trans child to deal with that kind of despair and hopelessness?
I know people dont say this situation is collateral damage specifically, but by calling how TERFs harm tme trans people collateral damage in general, you call this collateral damage too. [TW: suicide, death, eugenics ] I mean, they do realize this will kill all kinds of trans kids? No matter if they're tma or tme? Death is not collateral damage EVER. No. Fuck no.
This goes for all trans people who have ever died as a result of TERF's rhetoric and lobbying. All of them matter and not a single one is "collateral damage." The death of any trans person not a side effect of TERFism. It's the fucking goal. They want to eradicate us all. [TW: End]
Acknowledging this doesnt detract from how violently transmisogynistic they are. It's just that they're dangerously transandrophobic and nbphobic too! Just because it's covert and hidden away most of the time doesn't mean it isnt there...
Absolutely. Itâs incredibly disrespectful and erasive to call the very real harm TERFs cause to transmascs & nonbinary people as a whole âcollateral damageâ, and itâs ignorant of the fairly explicitly-stated goals of TERFs as well.
Abigail Shrier did not write Irriversible Damage because she hates and wants to hurt trans women alone, and everyone else is an afterthought. She wrote it explicitly and specifically about transmascs, because she wants us, specifically, not to exist.
These folks tend to believe that TERF rhetoric begins and ends with who TERFs include in feminism, and that isnât even the tip of the iceberg that is TERF ideology & bigotry. Thereâs a lot more to it than that, and refusing to consider any more than that is enabling a lot of actual harm to trans folks.
Youâre going to need to explain how there are a lot of transmascs TERFs and no transfem TERFs.
Some TERFs hating transmascs doesnât erase the TERFs who ally themselves with transmascs and TERFs who are transmascs.
The target of TERFs are trans women first and foremost, and the goal of TERFs is the eradication of trans women.
The TERFs who hate transmascs and the TERFs who donât hate transmascs and the TERFs who are transmascs are all willing to work together to eliminate trans women.
There are absolutely transfem TERFs. Hereâs an interview with one.
If youâre asking why there tend to be more transmascs in the movement, though, the answer is fairly simple: TERFs actively want us there. What youâre misunderstanding here is why TERFs include and exclude certain groups, and how that inclusion and exclusion works.
For trans women, yes, the goal is to be recognized and validated as women; that means inclusion in feminism. So when TERFs say âno, we arenât going to include you, youâre not womenâ, that is obviously counter to those goals & needs. Itâs very easy to look over at the transmascs they do include and think, well, theyâre getting what I want- thatâs unfair.
But TERFs do include trans women, when it benefits them. If you read that article, youâll see what Iâm talking about.
âAt the end of the day, a âgender criticalâ trans woman can only serve one real purpose, if required â to attack trans ideology as a trans person. Itâs a kind of on-call duty: TERF accused of transphobia, intervene as trans woman to deny and offer character testimony.â
And why do they include transmascs? Is it because they care about our struggles, validate us as men, and want to help us fight the transphobia that impacts us? Are TERFs donating to transmasc transition funds and discussing ways to better include us?
TERFs believe that trans men are women, that they are victims of trans ideology, and that any day now a cleansing wave of detransitioning trans men will sweep through the population. (Urquheart)
They include us because they want to manipulate, abuse, and sometimes even sexually assualt and rape us into detransition. They want to âturnâ us. They want to âsaveâ us. They want to eradicate the transmasc population just as much as they want to eradicate the transfem population; they just go about the two differently.
There are no âTERFs who donât hate transmascsâ. There are TERFs who manipulate and abuse us into detransitioning by pretending to have our best interests at heart, and there are TERFs who manipulate and abuse us into detransitioning by openly hating and harassing us.
When a TERF says âI love trans men, I just want whatâs best for themâ and you listen to them- even as transmascs are telling you how dangerous they are, how much they hurt us, how much damage their rhetoric is doing to our community- you are choosing to side with the oppressor and the abuser. Stop listening to TERFs, and start listening to the trans people they victimize.
âThey want to eradicate the transmasc population just as much as they want to eradicate the transfem population; they just go about the two differently.â
Iâve seen at least three transfem TERFs during my time here. It stunned me every time.
Using the fact that transmascs are targeted for indoctrination into a cult with the ultimate goal of coercing them into detransitioning and living miserably with their gender dysphoria until they become another suicide statistic to demonstrate that thereâs an âallyshipâ between transmascs and TERFs is⌠really ugly to me.
Almost as ugly as calling tme people âcollateral damageâ.
Thatâs been my deep concern with this growing divide between tme and tma trans folks. While we experience different flavours of bigotry, itâs ultimately the same hatred. They hate ALL trans people. Itâs called Trans Exclusionist Radical Feminism, not Transfem Exclusionist Radical Feminism. The transmisogyny is the opening gambit, but they donât and wonât ever stop there.

ummmmm why do you think that is
Imagine being part of a circus but complaining about being around clowns
Do not use feminism as an excuse to degrade and abuse men.
#or transwomen#or transmen#or nonbianaries
Or, for that matter, women. Iâve seen too many people who call themselves feminists use it as an excuse to feed their superiority complex - hell, I used to fall into that trap myself. You are not better than other women just because you donât wear pink.
