just a meat on a bone

dearrrr tumblr diary. today was pretty good actually. was very productive. lounged around for a little bit then went out to a plant nursery with my parents and popped into a few shops. got home and finally painted some shelves ive been meaning to for months, then went through all of my flashdrives and SD cards which took a few hours. found some awesome stuff honestly. one of the cards is full of pics and videos my little sister took when she must've been like, 7 or 8. its mostly the cats but a ton of it is completely random stuff like wires and rubber bands and all the sort of things a kid takes pictures of when first given a camera. there's a video she took of one of her friends doing an impromptu music video to the song california girls, and he has shockingly good choreography for what was obviously filmed as a massive joke. it was so funny I was laughing the whole time, it was wedged between cat photos so it took me wholly off guard. I wish I could share it. originally went through all my cards cause a handful belonged to my grandpa and I wanted to transfer the files over and then wipe the cards but every single one was blank so it didnt end up mattering. tomorrow im gonna aim to pick up my meds, spray sealant on the shelves, clean out lady's old snake tank, and do some job application stuff. fingers crossed I can muster up the energy after work

does anyone know a good way to open and view adobe flash files. found the flash drive with a bunch of my old flash projects from high school on it but no way to view them :(

ive really enjoyed new tomodachi life so far but im getting kinda frustrated about the lack of exterior customization on houses... you have to draw everything yourself and it looks so flat and requires like actual talent to make anything half decent. I just wanna change the color on an existing house to black... like they could at least let us make textures or skins for better looking models that aren't just boxes or domes

been getting takeout for lunch at this local place for a few years now. always the same person at the front, family owned, they know me and what I order at this point, etc,. for the first time today when she handed me my food the person at the front pointed at the forks and spoons and said "grab a fork". does she think I've been shoveling yangzhou rice into my mouth with my hands this whole time

skinamarink is a movie I honestly did not like watching but will applaud for trying something different and being unapologetic about not being very fun to watch. lot of experimental/genre pioneering horror movies are like that for me
