I really feel tremendous grief for friendships that kind of petered away in the face of life's currents. There are people with whom I formed deep, unique, vibrant, life-changing connections, and then we had to go our separate ways and it was too hard to maintain long-distance. There wasn't a fight, it just sort of faded. And I feel like I have more friendships like this than friendships that have endured, so maybe I just have to get used to it. But if grief is all the love we have left over - well, I never did get to finish loving them. I love them, and I miss them, and I probably always will.

I stg people on tumblr have no concept that anyone exists in a financial situation that isn't "paycheck to paycheck american poor" or "literally elon musk." like first of all there's people in the world living on less than $2 a day. second of all there's people in the world making $300,000 a year and have a house and go on vacations and are comfy and fine without exploiting the labor of millions and creating a vastly worst planet for all of us. there are people who have their mortgage set to autopay and never worry about it. there's also people to whom your lifestyle as a tumblrina is a fantasy. you have nothing to be ashamed of and neither do the moderately rich. just because someone doesn't worry about making ends meet doesn't mean they're automatically head-chop worthy in the socialist revolution!! ffs get some goddamn perspective and realize economic status is still a spectrum.
