I NEEEED more jealous!Shen Qingqiu. Nobody touch his Binghe!! That is his absolutely perfect, flawless, extremely beautiful and insanely talented husband! Hands off! (Everyone who spends >1 minute in their company already knows Luo Binghe is off limits, the way he won't even look at anyone other than his Shizun clues them in pretty fast, not that SQQ notices)
(Shen Qingqiu despairs because he wants Binghe to make friends but everyone who doesn't pass his extremely high standards isn't getting near his husband. That's his baby!!)
And also,, Shen Qingqiu pulling Binghe close when they walk through markets, frowning at random people in a cold stare and keeping his hand on Luo Binghe's waist in possessiveness. (Shen Qingqiu knows this town! This is where Bingge got dragged into a mass wedding, marrying and bedding four women in just one night! Like hell he's letting his husband out of his sight) (Binghe keeps pretending to accidentally stray away, to feel the way Shen Qingqiu will pull him back to his side again. He's definitely not squeaking in happiness, no sirr)
Im crying
I dont know why this is so funny to me
really underrated trope:
person a confesses their love to person b.
person b is flabbergasted! they politely let the other person know they don't reciprocate.
and person a is like yeah i figured, it's okay. this will give me an opportunity to move on. i appreciate you taking my feelings with grace đâ¤ď¸
and then. person b is slowly but surely driven insane with the knowledge of person a's love for them. it's all they can think about. they ask everyone they know if they were aware of person a's love. they keep pestering person a about when they fell in love, what it is that they love about them, how they'd treat them if they did date.
and it gets to a point whether either person a or person a's friends step in and are like hey you need to let them be, they're trying to move on. and person b is like but i don't want them to move on!!
...Oh.
Angsty romcom shenanigans about to go down đđĽł

okay but imagine Shang Qinghua never coming out in his first life
And after getting together, Mobei Jun discovers this little flag that Shang Qinghua seems to draw when he uses colored inks
And Mobei Jun asks about it , and Shang Qinghua explains that in his previous life (Mobei Jun knows) there was a word for part of his identity, and he never really got to celebrate it the way other people did
So Mobei Jun commissions the flag (itâs slightly off but) and Shang Qinghua breaks down in tears of joy and Mobei Jun also has a surprise set of robes in the colors too
And though almost no one else in this world understands, Shang Qinghua celebrates his first pride
I love chain lightening what a classic spell. fuck you and you and you and you and you and

Ted for no reason at all:
Katie Harris is photographed with her Appaloosa. Harris made most of the horse trappings as well as her own traditional outfits herself, including the bead work. Some of the trappings are passed down from older generations but the girls like to make their own to continue the tradition.

Me, passing a car covered in horny thirst-trap anime girl stickers: while I personally find this to be cringe, given the national push for censorship, I must concede that this is technically Praxis.
How to Fix Underwriting
1. Slow down at emotionally important moments.
Big emotions need space to land. If a scene feels rushed, pause the plot briefly to show how the moment affects the character.
2. Add reactions, not explanations.
Instead of explaining what a character feels, show it through physical responses, hesitation, or small actions that reveal emotion naturally.
3. Ground every scene in the senses.
If a scene feels thin, add one or two sensory detailsâsound, texture, smell, or temperatureâto make the moment feel lived-in.
4. Let thoughts interrupt action.
A line of internal thought can deepen a scene without slowing it too much. Thoughts show stakes, fear, longing, or conflict beneath the action.
5. Expand consequences, not events.
You donât need more things to happenâyou need to show what matters. Focus on how events change relationships, decisions, or self-perception.
6. Strengthen setting where emotion peaks.
The environment should echo or contrast the emotion of the scene. Setting is not decorationâitâs emotional reinforcement.
7. Add specific details instead of general ones.
Underwriting often relies on vague language. Swap âthey arguedâ for one sharp line of dialogue or a specific breaking point.
8. Let dialogue breathe.
Short dialogue exchanges without pauses can feel flat. Add beatsâsilence, gestures, interruptionsâto give the conversation weight.
9. Show transitions between scenes.
If scenes jump too quickly, readers feel disoriented. A brief transition helps establish time, mood, and emotional continuity.
10. Clarify stakes early in the scene.
If readers donât know what can be lost, scenes feel empty. Make sure the character wants something specific and fears losing it.
11. Use the âwhat are they feeling right now?â check.
After each major beat, ask what emotion is dominant in that moment. If itâs missing on the page, the scene is likely underwritten.
12. Expand scenes that feel âtoo clean.â
If a scene resolves too neatly or quickly, it probably needs more tension. Messy emotions and unresolved feelings add depth.
If it keeps you from killing yourself it's not stupid. This applies to anything btw.
Bestie. How dare you leave âdo not mock the life preserverâŚâ in the tags.

Taylor Tomlinson, Look At You (2022) Netflix special
Some of the 2010s-era Loki stans were annoying but some of them were very justified. They put Tom Hiddleston in handcuffs and a muzzle. Then they put him in chains and a collar. Then they had him look waifishly sad in a prison cell. Then they put him in handcuffs again. Then they chained him up again. Where else were teenage girls going to see that.

âfujoshis are harmful to gay menâ not this gay man.
on twitter this got a bunch of responses like âwow even the evil fujoshis? the homophobic yet hypocritically fetishistic ones? what if the fujoshi is racist?â and like well no obviously not in that case.
âshoutout to everybody from new jersey!â âeven the new jersey serial killersâŚ?â
podcasts could have been so good but they decided to make the main genres True Crime and Men Talking. shut up shut up the public yearns for audio dramas
i do appreciate how tumblr LOVES podcasts that aren't what most people think of when they think "podcast." you people love strange and terrible things happening to queer & confused characters, and i respect that
that being said we need a broad-scale revival of the golden age of radio (but this time without the Hays Code). before everyone had a television, radio dramas were THE premium form of at-home entertainment. there were so many to choose from: comedies, mysteries, crime, sitcoms, soap operas, you name it.
I am SO glad the public is rediscovering the joys of listening to audio plays, and damn well hope we can get some more variety. currently BBC Radio is doing amazing things with audio dramas (but the availability on their website is...not great. some shows pop up on archive.org before getting taken down for copyright, so pirate it when possible).
If you like horror podcasts, I recommend two canadian radio shows from the 1980s: Nightfall and Vanishing Point, both free online (and with amazing production value). also BBC's Fear On Four, some episodes of which are currently on archive.org (so download em while you can!)
I've found Many lovely audio drama podcasts by QCODE on Spotify, and even more done by smaller artists!
And if you like musicals when it comes to movies and plays, they come in audio drama format too! I've been engrossed in all the interconnected stories around New Albion by Paul Shapera for a few months now, listening over and over.
