The dress was based on Lucille piece from 1912 and two years later I'm still in love with it (despite several details I would do diffrently now). The #gold theme for #georgianjanuary challenge took me back to the first #18thcentury dress I've ever made - robe a la anglaise inspired by one of the dresses from #marieantoinette There is nothing historically accurate about it, but it'll always have a very special place in my heart.

For today's theme of #georgianjanuary I have to go with my own #1750s #pink #moire #gown (and borrowed #blackcat ) made after the diagram xvi in Norah Waugh's book. In five days. Entirely by hand.
