Dr Wenren E (PhD) is the chancellor of Xuanyuan University of Law which is an evil but prestigious law school & Yin Hanjiang is his ...uhh, personal assistant (?) who is currently working to get his PhD in criminal justice.

Why law school? Well, it's because Baili Qingmiao who is a prodigy at law applied to law school to chase after her POS ex boyfriend He Wenzhao (Legally Blonde style)

Meanwhile Shu Yanyan is the long-suffering associate professor who just wants to overthrow Wenren E tenure. Instead of tenure she gets a lot of dog food from her coworkers and her students rip queen you are suffering in every universe

but! I realised there's,,, so many reasons?? The plot, the characters, the humour, the meta-ness, the ship, the tropes, the taking revenge via refining humans into lamp oil, etc

So maybe we could compile our funniest or favourite reasons someone could be enticed into reading DVAWTK!

Such a perfect ending scene to me. Yin Hanjiang is still unhinged, he still enjoys burning things he doesnt like into ashes. But now he knows that his silent devotion is reciprocated, and he knows he is loved.

The books that have influenced Wenrenjiang's actions (for better or for worse) are set aflame and even before that they had reached their conclusions and now it's time for WRE and YHJ to live out their own story beyond the confines of the book called DVAWTK and beyond the events of Abusive Romance and God Of Annihilation

And it is a happily ever after (for them at least)
