I did it! Shadow learns about the Muppets

I can imagine Shadow singing Rainbow Connection to himself to soothe himself after a bad mental health day because Maria used to sing that song and play her guitar when he had a bad day with the scientists or a nightmare. When Sonic learns this movie is Shadow’s favorite and this song holds a special place for Shadow, oh boy, watch out! For their anniversary, Sonic would pull his medallion out of storage having learned how to play Rainbow Connection on his guitar secretly. Shadow would be so touched, cry, and fall more in love with Sonic because the last time someone played and sang for him was Maria.
