i wanna hear all the reasons why they didnt make them canon lovers, They had all the potential, no they are not brother like, they never seemed like brothers, and fought like inlove gay guys, and had a very doomed plot with each other, which again had such potential to be a canon ship. they even died together, as seen in the picture above and after Viktor literally said
" in all timelines in all possibilities only you can show me this." or whatever that old twink said 💔
