So I found this detailed in Transformers One that I don’t think anyone has noticed yet.

Do you think Optimus has nights where he wakes up from nightmares of those burning red eyes staring at him. Do you think he hates being alone in his new, big berthroom with no one to share it. Do you think he tries to find D-16 after waking up from a nightmare but stops when he notices the room he's in. Do you think he has nights where he just cried for forgiveness. Do you think he sobs to himself, begging for forgiveness and apologizing for every stupid thing he's ever done to D-16. To Megatron. Do you think he regrets making him join that stupid race. Do you think he feels overwhelming guilt and shame whenever he sees Megatron.
Unknowing that Megatron has tried to seek out Orion after a nightmare before in his new 'home.' Unknowing that Megatron struggles to hold back his tears. Unknowning that Megatron has his own regrets. Unknowning that Megatron wishes he pulled Orion up. Unknowning that Megatron tries to twist it in his own head to not feel as bad, saying that if he pulled him up, he wouldn't be Optimus when in reality, he wishes he just didn't drop his friend. Unknowning that Megatron sometimes finds himself staring at Optimus' once gone arm, wanting to reach out and apologize.
To the ends of the earth, would you follow me?

with the shot where d-16 is visibly more agitated in aiming at sentinel after striking orion, i can’t help but think that it’s because dee immediately understands just how fucking bad it was. they’re both so incredibly touch-oriented with each other and they aren’t even necessarily gentle about it, but even when dee literally punches orion in the face in front of darkwing, it doesn’t have even an ounce of the cruelty that doing it in front of sentinel does. kicking someone when they’re already down isn’t the kind of thing you do to someone you love or like or even respect. there’s no way their friendship would’ve been the same after that. that’s not “get out of my way for your own good”, it’s “get out of my way and stay out”.
and you can see the exact moment dee realizes this, you can see the oh god that was wrong i’m gonna regret that later. but you can also see him pushing past it immediately, burying that betrayal, justifying it in the moment because sentinel must die. the ends justify the means, he’s probably thinking. he’ll have time to calm down later. he’ll have time to make up for it later. and then orion jumps in front of the cannon.
Devising Drinks!
So! Back with another piece for @fanartfrenzy! This one is for a prompt to create a drink, and so the fic I instantly went to was A Couple Promises which is a Transformers One fake dating D-Pax story where Orion convinces D-16 to go with him to restaurant that is having a special couples evening event!
I ended up doing a photoshoot with toys as well! (I know in the film they drink blue energon, but let's pretend that this is pink because it's a fancy recipe they have at the restaurant.
The energon cubes were created by @bunny-robots and I originally got them on etsy
So the drink is MoguMogu Lychee (cos I like Lychee and it had the perfect pink colour). I also added some grendine for the red effect at the bottom. And also I added in a shot of peach schnapps (could have been vodka but I have a sweet tooth haha). I call it a Cybertronian Sunrise!
This fic is so sweet and lovely. I really enjoy it, so definitely go read it!
