Dennis was mad at her for fighting but then she said "Nobody fucks with my Huckleberry but me." while he was tending to her sprained wrist and two dislocated fingers. Frank was prepping an ice pack in the kitchen. Baran was absolutely furious when she heard about it, and didn't talk to Trinity for three days. Kian convinced her to talk to her again. She never thought she would take advice from a five year old.

Baran grabbed the tourniqute and tightened it as hard and as fast as she could on Trinity's leg. Trinity's cry of pain was muffled by the leather of Baran's belt, teeth sinking into the sturdy material before her eyes rolled back into her skull and her entire body relaxed.

Never had Baran ever been so relived for someone in her care to lose consciousness.

The younger doctor had just barely met the qualifications to join Médecins Sans Frontières and had been the most enthusiastic member of their team in the maternity ward. She entertained their entire group by constantly trying to shoot her shot with Baran.
