A little background; Me and my gf have had a rocky past. Our most recent argument led to me ending it, this was because in the past we've gone long periods of time without seeing eachother to which she promised that would never happen again. This usually happened due to lies or because her paregants wouldn't let her out. This happened approx 5/6 times and i'd had enough of it. Just recently she promised that her parents wouldn't get in the way of us and that she'd see me regularly, which we had done for a few months until she was grounded (Yes, grounded by her parents at 19, she is in uni btw her parents are very strict and protective.). We haven't seen eachother for 6 weeks now, she says she wants one more chance to see me in 2 days to prove to me that she'll not break the promise again. As we're both going to be living in the same city, she says it'll be away from her parents and we'll never be stopped from seeing eachother again, however. She is going to live with her auntie, which makes me think her parents could still stop her from seeing me, she of course denies this. Should I allow her one more chance to prove to me, after the first 5 and see her in 2 days? We both still love and want eachother but I feel like i can't trust her. I understand this is very common in girls, about restrictions and protection and all that crap but as far as I understand, its all about proirities. If you are important enough, she will find a way, or she will find a excuse. Now, lets talk about the promise, well, I have mentioned about it many times; NO ONE WANTS TO LOOSE ANYONE. Yes we are human and we are greedy, so whenever we are in a situation of loosing something, we tend to panic and we try to do anything and everything possible to keep it. Thats what you gf is doing, whenever she feels like she is loosing you, she makes promises without even a second though if she can stand by it. Now you will have to decide if you want to listen to excuses or be with someone who keep you on the top of your priority list.

So the thing is that you cheated. And none of my friends know that a week later I let you take me for ice cream and you told me how sorry you were and I almost said it was okay. I almost told you I could take you back. I almost told you I liked you more than every mistake you could ever make. And then I realized that the only mistake I could never love you through is the mistake where you chose someone over me.
