Yahoo!! Oh boy the big question.. get ready for a long tangent!! to be honest I’ve cycled through several people who I’ve been inspired by, I think my most prominent experience with inspiration was by @/cogniris!! Her editing immediately caught my eye due to the fact that it was unique. Something I feel is extremely hard to achieve in the editing community because techniques tend to blend with one another. Her way of editing is really beautiful and everything feels intentionally placed, something I cannot say I do lol— I personally ride with the wind, but his work in my eyes has always been polished!

Way before I started the paufey account I felt really inspired to try and replicate that same polished look as them, I was in a big editing block at that point in time so I desperately wanted to do something that I felt was “correct.”

But through the time, I’ve personally let go of attempting to replicate idols “it” things. Not because I deem them something wrong, but because inspiration to me isn’t something I personally should pursue. In the past when I have attempted to replicate “it” things, I always felt drained because things weren’t placed with my own personal touch, but with another’s. And editing is just not fun in that regard! So I’ve quit attempting to edit in someone else’s image, and instead do it in my own pace within the beat I have created!

Yet regardless, inspiration does appear. Not in the way you’d expect though lol— it now comes in small bouts within ordinary objects rather than people lol !! I never plan my works in advance to be completely transparent. I don’t really have a plan in mind for how an edit will look like, nor the theme I want. Which is why most of my edits tend to not follow a strict set of guidelines. I feel that I get most inspiration for my edits through PNGs on Pinterest or on TikTok lol,, the only reason one of my more recent edits was even made (dependence duo layout,) was because of the fish tank lamp I saw on TikTok a couple months back!

I tend to feel inspired by objects rather than people, even from shows/novels I’ve even interacted with before. I think my wifies layout was subconsciously inspired by Braun (GSGW) if I really think about it!!

೯⠀⁺ ⠀ 𖥻 paufey’s last thoughts .ᐟ I really wanted to edit dol9hin for the sole reason that her fanart is stunning !! Her Minecraft skins are also so cute 🌻🌻 as you can tell I really liked the frames I made..

The headers were inspired by the rotating fish tank lamp that I absolutely adore and must have!! I even used the lamp as the boarder,, originally it was meant to be a scrapbook-esque theme but when reminded of the lamp i knew I had to use it 🥹🥹 you can also see a bit of each of the girls aesthetic (nature/pink vs ocean) in each others header in the corners— almost as if it is rotating to showcase them!!

I also tried un-sharp mask finally!! I tend to avoid it because too much of it makes my eyes strain and makes things blend into the background imo, doubtful I will ever truly lean into the un-sharp mask trend but it was nice!!

Euhehee 🥹🥹🥹 thank you guys so much for 200 so fast ??? Hello??? I was at 100 only a couple weeks ago,, I can’t believe I grew so fast in such little time!! Thank you all sm for following me and my dumb little mcyt centric graphics I genuinely appreciate it sm!! I promise to post more and more and keep on creating and expanding my work to other fandoms!! anyways!! I was contemplating switching the color palette for the pre-separation graphic, as I used blues and purples for the second graphic to showcase the icy environment that planet is in— but thought the the cooler colors would be a good nod towards the fact that in the series planet is from a snowy area!!

I haven’t done graphics in a long while 👀👀 it was very fun to do them !! They’re so easy and simple 🥹🥹❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹
