It's very silly so far. I like how it's very upfront with its more heavier themes that contrast the overall whimsy of the game.

I love this little man so much
Part of me refuses to believe that Ralsei gets less love in fandom. As in I'm actually kind of surprised. I remember after finishing the newer chapters I was mainly trying to find Ralsei centric analysis videos and they weren't really too hard to find and I'd say the ones I saw were pretty good. ( granted I have my history paused on my youtube so I literally have to search for videos most of time but like I said they weren't hard to find.) And I've seen a myriad of very nice fanwork that really delve into his character.
Man, I am manifesting Ralsei getting defensive magic so hard. I so badly hope there is a Shadow boss who's perspective on freedom mirrors Ralsei's beliefs.
Idk I guess this is just one of those dr takes I see people complain about that I have to take with a grain of salt. Like the idea that people hold Spade king to a higher regard than queen when I feel like out of all the main bosses, king gets the least amount of attention in fanwork.
Was anyone gonna tell me Super Paper Mario is super fun or was I supposed to realize it myself by playing the game over a decade after buying it? (okay so maybe this is my fault)

Seeing everyone playing and enjoying Mina the Hollower: I feel like I'm missing out lol.
No because I have a similar situation with HOLLOW KNIGHT where I got into the game years after it came out and would play it really slowly. I wasn't in a rush to beat it. And because of that, I didn't feel like I needed silksong like a lot of other people did. At least not for right know. It's the same with Shovel Knight and Mina the Hollower (but its different since mth is its own thing). I didn't even know it was coming out until I look on YCG website a few months ago. Since Mina is not a platformer, I'll probably play that first as I do play a lot of platformers already. But like silksong I'm not in a rush to play it.
Anyway I should start playing Specter of Torment soon. It's been a minute.
You can ignore me but man, I am so tired of feeling angry and engaging with ranty posts in fandoms spaces. It's kind of this habit I accidentally developed over the past several months and Im trying really hard to break out off. It has done a lot of damage to my mental health. At this point Im doing it just to feel SOMETHING.
I know this is tired saying but I really focus on touching grass and doing more productive things with my time.
You know, find a good type of busy.
