What is the most productive way to understand the concept of a flaw?
Flaws are not mere blemishes or imperfections to hide or reluctantly accept.
True flaws are our triggers, blind spots, and attachments—forces that destabilize our clarity and sanity.
When activated, these flaws pull us into a semi-unconscious state, where we act in ways that conflict with our highest values and undermine our own best interests. In those moments, we are not ourselves.
From there, we risk hurting loved ones, isolating ourselves, and sowing confusion and suffering.
You can recognize this process in real time when you notice that getting your way has become more important than anything else.
