OK, I’m ready to declare this dog the standout animal actor in MASH, with some pretty stiff competition (Fluffy the rabbit, Daisy the mouse, the lamb in “Private Charles Lamb,” Corporal Cupcake, and the numerous Sophies, to name just a few).

After a nice turn in “Images “ (s6) and a cameo in “Major Ego (s7), the prodigious talent returns in season 9′s “Letters” to illustrate Father Mulcahy’s story of Irving, the alcoholic pup. Apparently Father gave poor Irving enough whiskey to get him sick, and after that he never touched another drop.

How to make them into a GIF:

Step 1. Edit the base however you like (I used MSPaint)

Step 2: Crop and save each frame individually as PNGs (Note for the lick base: It's best to crop them to include the black boarder. This makes the GIF 50x50, which is the standard DeviantArt icon size and can easily scale larger if need be.)

Step 3: Go to ezgif.com/maker and upload all your frames

Step 4: Set "delay time" to 10, then click "Make a GIF!"

Step 5: Right-click the result and save it. Congrats! You used a GIF base!

as someone who works in the paint department of a hardware store i just wanna say that you are absolutely allowed (and ENCOURAGED!) to grab as many cards off the rack as you want so long as you don’t take more than one or two of each colour (they are free for customers but the store only gets so many at a time so please don’t just walk off with our ENTIRE supply of SW 7587 Antique Red cards)

The next time you want to call a sequence “Well animated” do yourself a favour and rewatch it with the sound muted. Often times ir’s only after you remove sound from something that you can truly see if the animation underneath is actually good or not, or if the music/acting is manipulating you.

….but on that same note, “Well animated” does not mean “Fluidly animated”. Because something can be VERY well animated and have few frames if those frames are in the right place, or have a shit ton for frames and be badly animated because it’s over-animated and moves way too much.
