Many angles of his face were never photographed, so the only way to study them was to recreate them with a 3D model. This is an experiment to see how well that approach works.
The previous drawing👆 was roughly based on an 80mm focal length. (Since it wasn't based on the 3D model, I can't know the exact perspective, but publicity portraits from that era were typically photographed with lenses around 80 to 100mm.) This time I used 30mm instead. The angle is similar, but the perspective looks quite different.
