As much as I love Tony, I always forget that he’s been a public figure more than the others. Like, everything to better the world has been spearheaded by him as Tony Stark, not Iron Man. Sure, the others are known for their heroism in battle and that’s indisputable, but I never thought of what Tony represents for his city, his country, the world at large. Like, the Maria Stark Foundation, the September Foundation, the Clean energy projects, the BARF, the MIT research funding, the clean up after the Battle of New York, the negotiations and policy discussions with the UN for the Accords… like, all of that is Tony Stark, the man. It’s easy to forget just how much he does and gives to the community but like he’s actually really well loved as himself and I know for a fact he’s being mourned across the globe. I love him and I’m so damn proud of everything he did.

you might think this is minor but so many AMAZING movies, original stories, breathtaking performances were destroyed by unnecessary hollywood remakes because the american audience refuses to fucking read subtitles. the entire world reads subtitles. get on with program for once!
