To make a sandwich, put the other piece of bread on top. Cover the outside of the sandwich with vegan butter. Place the pan on medium heat. It will take about 34 minutes on each side to cook the sandwich until it is golden brown. Enjoy while hot!

Instructions: Preheat your oven to 350F 175C. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish. In a skillet, cook the ground sausage, chopped onion, and chopped green bell pepper over medium heat until the sausage is browned and the vegetables are tender. Drain any excess fat. In a large bowl, mix together the cooked sausage mixture, shredded cheddar cheese, shredded Monterey Jack cheese, frozen hash brown potatoes, and all-purpose flour. Spread this mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper. Pour this egg mixture over the sausage and cheese mixture in the baking dish. Bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes, or until the casserole is set and the top is golden brown. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. This Amish Breakfast Casserole makes a delicious and hearty breakfast for your family or guests.
