Crispy Herb Goat Cheese Bites These delightful crispy bites are packed with flavor and make for a perfect appetizer or snack. The combination of goat cheese and fresh herbs, along with a crunchy exterior, creates a delicious treat. Ingredients 4 ounces goat cheese 2 tbsp flour 1 egg 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs 1 tbsp rosemary finely chopped 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes or more if you want more heat Cooking spray Instructions Divide goat cheese into 8 pieces, and roll them into balls. Place on a plate or tray and stick in the freezer for 30 minutes. Preheat air fryer at 400° for 4 minutes. Place the flour, whisked egg, and panko in 3 separate bowls. Add rosemary, salt, and red pepper flakes to the panko crumbs. First lightly coat the balls in flour, dusting off any excess. Coat with the egg wash, then cover in panko crumbs. Once the fryer is preheated, spray the basket with cooking spray (I use avocado oil in a Misto sprayer). Place the panko-crusted goat cheese in the fryer basket and cook at 400° for 5-7 minutes until golden brown. The cheese will be super melty when they first come out, making them hard to remove from the basket. Set the basket on a kitchen towel and let the fritters cool down a bit before removing them gently with a fork.
