Here’s some info abt Snow:

Snow is what could be generously considered her “squad”’s sub-leader.

She’s not exactly strategic past ‘punch first ask questions later’ but she has a good enough battle sense and intuition to keep everyone alive and can be more wise than most will give her credit for. Great navigation skills and not bad at foraging. She does need to be reminded every now and then what is safe for consumption for different species tho.

Her main reason for being “sub-leader” is mainly just being able to translate the actual leader the best. She would hand off that position first opportunity she gets if the squad wouldn’t object to that almost immediately. She’s actually pretty quiet and kind of resents being the one that actually has to talk to people for leadership reasons. Their actual leader would do the talking but… well, language barrier among other reasons.

She’s actually a shapeshifter but uses that power sparingly if she can because it has long term effects if she uses it for too long or too frequently. I mean, the moose horns aren’t exactly for show (unfortunately). Most of the consequences aren’t visible which, unfortunately, makes them that much more inconvenient.

She’s the best at hand to hand within their group but doesn’t have much magical ability or weapons training (although tbh I don’t think she needs it most of the time). She’s also a little feral but tbh most of them are. They just hide it to varying degrees of success. Though she’s also probably the most perceptive. However, very blunt and concise when speaking. She does give good hugs tho.

I really just have to summarize Thomas's entire life:

He was in a committed relationship with a male swan named Henry for 18-24 years before a female swan named Henrietta showed up and mated with Henry.

Thomas was initially jealous of the pair and attacked them, breaking 2 of the 5 eggs Henrietta had laid. However, once the remaining eggs hatched, Thomas warmed up to them and helped raise them.

Henry couldn't fly because of an injured wing, so Thomas taught the cygnets how to fly.

When they needed to reduce the goose population in the pond where Thomas and the swans lived, they dyed Thomas's feathers red so he wouldn't be separated from Henry.

Henry, Henrietta, and Thomas remained in their happy throuple for years and raised 68 cygnets before Henry died in 2009. After Henry's death, Henrietta found another swan and flew away, leaving Thomas alone.

Thomas finally met and mated with a female goose in 2011 and had his own babies. However, another goose named George stole them and raised them himself.

As Thomas grew elderly and blind, he was relocated to a wildlife center where he raised orphaned cygnets.

His caretaker at the center described him as "pretty high maintenance."

Thomas died in 2018 at the age of around 40. He had a funeral that included a small coffin and a procession that was led by a bagpiper. He was buried under the stone where Henry was buried, the two finally reunited in death.

I’m doing decent I guess. I got sick pretty recently and I’m just now getting over that but I still got a cough so. But yeah, I have more time on my hands and I’m excited to do things!

It sounds like it’s really scary but take it the same way you’ve taken all the scary things before. I’d recommend just taking things a little at a time. Short term goals like daily or weekly goals (such as ‘have I eaten/slept enough today?’ Or ‘did I apply for at least [#] jobs this week?’ [idk if you have a job already]) are FAR less intimidating than longer term goals like ‘where am I headed?’. Not to say that those kinds of questions aren’t important, they are, but they can be overwhelming very fast. So if you’re stressin’, take a sec to zoom in on what you have and are doing right now. Don’t forget to occasionally look back and be proud of what you’ve accomplished so far. Change is scary but A) you have a bunch of people online and (hopefully) irl who love/care for you and B) it’s scarier if nothing changes. If we’re all the same forever. It sounds comforting at first but monotony can drive a person mad eventually.
