Sorry, my what? My pronouns? Oh, yeah I'm between genders at the moment. No, it's cool, I quit my last gender a little while ago because it really wasn't working out. I don't know if I even have a dream gender anymore.

Oh yeah, it did come with benefits, but they weren't really worth it. The culture was really toxic. To be honest I think I'd prefer a part-time gender so I can just be self-described in my spare time.

I mean, in a perfect world we wouldn't need gender, you know? We could just voluntarily be perceived as much as we're able, as much as makes us feel fulfilled. Having a full-time gender shouldn't be a prerequisite for food, shelter, and healthcare.

i kind of sympathize with Sadeas re: Dalinar in Way of Kings. if I knew a guy who was basically like a rabid dog barely contained on a leash back when we were launching a military coup together and he had a kill count of like 999999999 civilians and then he had a complete mental breakdown and then came back from it like "hey I'm Catholic now and by the way God Is Speaking To Me and told me the apocalypse is coming" well i probably wouldn't want that guy in charge of anything either. to be honest

I think kaladin is so funny… he’s like a classic fantasy hero, but also he has regular ol depression and parents that want him to be a doctor like the rest of us. he goes home to his parents and his dad sees him enveloped in holy light and goes “stop that. you were halfway towards a medical degree… please just study medicine”
