Meeks never stops crying after Neil’s death. Stood in the doorway of Todd’s room he’s got fresh tear marks, out on the snow he’s still red eyed and teary, as they’re singing for him his face is so torn up and tears are falling over his book, he’s actually sobbing; at the meeting after he still has a few tears left and there’s a film here his eyes, and as he’s leaving the office and he’s walking across with Hager he’s wiping tears from his eyes, he shuts himself back in his room without talking to anyone and you can hear in his voice he’s still sobbing as he’s talking to Todd through the door, even as he’s up on the desk with the rest of the poets at the end he’s still. Crying. He. God.

hey hey hey dont cry. charlie sent neil a drawing of a boobied lady with the phrase . dont kill yourself youre so rad ahaa and neil opened it when he was in his fathers office and he laughed so hard he fell out of the window and passed out in the snow and his father assumed he ran away but neil woke up and ran theough the dark to charlies house to thank him for saving his life and then charlie adopted him (his parents are always away on business trips so charlie could keep neil in his house) then all the poets have christmas at charlie's house and todd and neil kiss under the mistletoe and then pitts and meeks and then charlie and knox. and then cameron comes back and they all forgive him okay
