I used to think happiness has to come with work. If you didn’t do something worthy of happiness, then you don’t deserve to be happy. . We live in a society where we’re taught to work hard and play hard. Notice how playing hard only comes after working hard. And working hard always comes with an undertone of sacrifice. So happiness can only come with sacrifice..? . If you haven’t noticed, I’m trying to re-wire my brain these days. I’m discovering that work doesn’t have to come with sacrifice.
