I know that since Animorphs was written in the 90s, there are two options. 1) True to the books. No cell phones. The Internet has just barely been born. Social media was just a glint in Tom Anderson's eye.
OR.
2) Updated for the modern age.
But like. If they go with 2, how are they going to deal with the phones? And the internet? (Iykyk) How do they avoid getting tracked by cell phones? Who catches them on Snapchat? Is there a subreddit for unusual animal sightings in SoCal? ("No dude, it was a tiger and a wolf and an elephant and a gorilla all working together.") Is Flock or Palantir getting involved? How do the kids avoid the scrutiny and surveillance of the 2020s?
