everyones ok with autistic people having weird facial expressions until its smiling when youre sad or uncomfortable and not just flat affect…

really not a huge fan of the way you can say “I have a disorder that makes being productive very difficult for me even with things I want to do” and be met with people giving you A) five different ways to be productive, B) daily task recommendations to do every day, or C) asserting that you’re using it as an excuse to be lazy. like I don’t think you’re understanding what I’m trying to convey

we love having an overstimulation moment where sounds are too much so you find yourself in a dark corner booth in a dennys where the really nice waitress understood you were overstimulated and made sure your bacon was Extra Crispy

if there was a dedicated social networking site/app for autistic people there should be a “looking for conversation” page where you can post that you’re looking to talk about [topic] with people who are as excited about it as you are and there’s a search bar to look for specific topics to see if a request was already posted
