You know you're a true friend to our system when:
We openly switch in front of you
We don't keep our differences hidden and covert
We don't keep all the internal commentary to ourselves
Varyn sings around you
And you're especially a true friend if:
Doc fronts around you and uses his natural accent

Remember that role labels are descriptive, not prescriptive. You do not have to be nothing but your role. Not every plural has every role, not every headmate who performs a task falls into said role. It’s fine to not use role labels at all, even, or only some headmates to use them. It’s fine to make your own terms if you feel they fit better or just don’t like the more common ones. It’s fine to remain completely unlabeled. Role labels exist as an optional tool, they not define headmates or plurals in their capacity.
More Plural terms
We weren't satisfied with how "all or nothing" fragment is as a term since it's more of a scale for us so, here ya'll go, terms utilizing the gemstone scale from Genshin. Free to use just credit us if posted somewhere else. Sliver: An unsentient bit of forming matter. Not 'aware' but technically 'alive.'. Can grow into a fragment with time and resources Fragment: A scrap of forming material a bit more alive than a sliver. Can start to express selfhood, thoughts, and feelings. Still very incomplete and hollow though. Chunk: A technically fully formed member. Exists on their own and has full memories of their life and identity, but a weak overall prescence in the system. Gemstone: A full form filled with matter and memory. These members often draw in all other forms of member existence to fill out even further, resulting in subsystems and facets that would not otherwise exist.

Been seeing some stuff in #systempunk. Just wanna say: the DSM-V does mention cultural and spiritual plurality as a thing :) it says that should the plurality stem from something other than trauma, to not diagnose with DID. So... Guess what, antis? The DSM-V says we exist, just that we shouldn't be diagnosed with DID because we didn't stem from trauma :) the DSM-V is more accepting of non-medical systems than you fuckers :) it also means that we are NOT stealing resources from traumagenic systems, we are NOT spreading misinformation by saying these systems stemmed from something other than trauma, and we are NOT invading your spaces.
You cannot be punk and an exclusionist. You cannot be punk and be against self-determination :)
That's just my two-cents though lol

Plurality Without Trauma =/= Delusional
Okay, let's tackle this then, shall we?
A delusion is defined as a belief that is held in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary. Usually delusions aren't amenable to change, are held with a degree of near certainty and can come with negative psychological effects.
Being plural without trauma, endogenic, or being plural in ways outside of the common medical model is not a sign of delusions. Delusions often involve physically observable or falsifiable phenomena; this is why someone may be deemed delusional if they claim something like "I flew to the sun" but would not be seen as delusional if they reported feeling different from other people.
Delusions that involve plurality usually defy the laws of physics, then, and do not make reference to lack of trauma. For example, hearing physical, mortal, incarnated people talking to you mentally might be considered a delusion (as it's possible to prove or disprove telepathy) and thinking literal physical people exist within you (p. 190) may be seen as delusional (since multiple skeletons can't appear and disappear from a single body). You cannot objectively prove or disprove that someone has multiple identities in their head without trauma, as we cannot verify or falsify what's going on inside someone's head.
All that being said... if your plurality is a delusion, that's 100% fine. At the very least, I think that even if you're experiencing elements that are considered delusional or unrealistic, you still deserve a place in the plural community and with other endogenics if you feel it suits you. There is talk of a dissociative-psychotic spectrum in the psychological literature, and many of the experiences are shared between the two communities. Don't let the ableists keep you away.
