If I may be curious. What is anti-endo and what is pro endo to begin with? I’m only familiar with proship vs anti. Love your blog btw.
The discourse is very broad and I definitely recommend looking into different perspectives of it, but here is my own perspective on it (said as a vague singletsona, for simultaneous privacy and blurry reasons.)
Please also note that I& don't speak for the entire mod team. All of us on the mod team are pro-endo or endo-neutral, but we all have different specific views.
In my experience, anti-endos generally believe that plurality (existing as multiple beings and/or distincts parts of a one whole in one body) can only exist in those who experience dissociative psychiatric disorders. Many even gatekeep it further and believe that only those who have the specific dissociative disorders of OSDD-1b and DID can experience plurality.
Some pro-endos have made the connection that they are essentially the system version of a transmed, as anti-endos believe that non-disordered (systems without a dissociative disorder) and non-traumagenic plurals (which are systems that haven't formed from trauma) are "stealing resources" from traumagenic disordered systems, and are spreading misinformation that "harms real systems."
They also commonly group all these groups together as "endos", which is a false equivalence as not all endogenic systems (which are systems that formed without trauma) are even non-disordered, nor are all non-disordered systems endogenic in nature, despite how it is often framed in their communities. In fact, some endogenic systems later develop DID or other dissociative disorders and are still excluded from anti-endo communities regardless, all in the name of "protecting real systems."
Anti-endos overall believe all endogenic systems are either faking or are traumagenic systems (plurals formed by trauma) in denial.
We stand against all of this. Especially considering that some of our mods are either endo or simply don't conform to anti-endos' narrow beliefs on what plurality is, and have thus been ostracized from their communities otherwise.
