Are others allowed to create something similar to your Anatomy Of series, and if so how would you all prefer to be credited with the idea? If not, I understand, thank you for taking the time to answer either way.
Sure thing! It'd be cool as hell to see more people writing about their identities like that--absolutely go ahead and feel free to @ us so we can see it because we LOVE this sort of thing.
It'd be cool if you want to link us somewhere in it, but really it's not like we own the concept of writing speculative biology esque (not really "speculative" if it's about us but I digress) essays about our alterhumanity. If anything, linking us would just be a nice way to show people where they can find more similarly written things!

Idk who to ask this to so I just chose you because you're the first blog I saw so I'm sorry if I'm bothering you but I'm questioning if I'm a sys and I wanted to ask if it's still possible to be a system if you see your potential alters as yourself, like all of your alters are you and you are your alters but with them also being different at the same time? (I know this is terribly explained I'm sorry, idrk how to word this)
Yep! Your alters can still be seen as:
Parts of you.
Parts of your collective.
You, but just a little different.
You, but feeling like you have a "filter" over yourself.
You, but [emotion].
You, but older, younger, a different gender, etc.
Sometimes in those cases it'd be difficult to tell yourselves apart, sometimes it might be hard to tell if you're a system at all, but it's absolutely a thing. You might want to look into median systems? We wrote a post on median plurality here if you're interested!
I just skimmed but to the anon you don't have to worry about ontological or diagnostic labels and categories, you can go to a psych if it'd help and tell them about your experiences (especially if it'd distressing in a way you'd like help for, or to express to a medical/mental health professional your problems, for example for like memory problems if you have any (including... not remembering the memory problems), or if identity confusion is distressing), but. I understand the anxiety! I do. but. you can just live as you are instead of worrying about labels. I don't really identify as a system, or plural, and I have DID lol. you don't have to worry about what label fits you ESPECIALLY when you just find out & start to relate to it & you dont have to jump into it, you don't have to be hasty... have you heard of IFS (internal family systems)? its an approach / modality for therapy where the persons mind is viewed as having several parts and personifying it ! it might be helpful , might not , maybe check it out ? I also like schema therapy that approaches things as archetypes almost which i relate to more than ifs :) on the other hand, "plural" and "polymind" is a self-ID label someone created, and less of Hard Ontological Reality (you can drop the label at anytime; regardless of label, your experiences are your own and your label you self-identify with doesnt change it), DID & BPD is diagnostic category and has a whole grab bag of Symptoms and are associated with childhood trauma (including emotional neglect, medical procedures, bullying, foster children switching caregiver often, etc... not just parental abuse) and disorganized attachment to caregiver :) ! idk this is probably too much sorry 😓 Have a nice day!
I believe this was sent in the context of this anon.
We agree with this! There's no rush and picking what labels fit is great, but you can also just.. not! Even diagnostic labels like DID and BPD aren't exactly the same between two people who have them, even though there's an outlined criteria for those. People aren't just one thing or another, there's plenty of grey area!
Hi, anon who asked abt interacting w plural community again. This is embarassing as hell but uh....how....how do you make....posts. not liek "how press post button" but how do i...word it properly. Or at least introducing myself. This is all very very new to me (regardless of how much lurking inve done lmao)
Honestly, the answer really is just "however you want"! There's no rules (other than Tumblr TOS) or structure you need to follow. You can post about new discoveries with your identity, you can write longform essays, you can slap down a shower thought and call it a day, you can post quick sketches or random poems--anything you want. If it relates to plurality, you're free to put it in the plural tags.
The only real thing to note is that "crosstagging for visibility" (aka tagging a post with unrelated tags to get it more views) isn't really a thing here on Tumblr, so if your post doesn't relate to plurality (for example, is a fandom post with no mention of plurality whatsoever) it wouldn't go in the tags. Other than that? Be free, do whatever you'd like! It doesn't have to be big or well thought-out, it's your blog after all.

local host of an endogenic gateway system here to say ty for being around. you're the whole reason I decided to make a Tumblr account
Hey, you're very welcome. I hope you have a good time here.
We love getting messages like this because it proves we're at least doing some good for some people--which is what we want in the end anyway. We'll be ourselves unapologetically regardless, but bringing people up along the way is always a great thing. You keep being you (plural) too.
