this isn't some new invention of amazon and silicon valley, by the way, it's just how the capitalist market operates. supermarkets originally undercut local groceries in the same way, because they had more weight to throw around, and could take a loss in one spot that was made up in another. it's a general tendency towards monopolisation.

I'm gonna point out, AirBnB was spun off from online couch surfing communities. They took a thing that people were doing out of the goodness of their heart (allowing strangers to crash in their house because they can't afford a hotel room) & turned it into a business. It used to be cheaper because it used to be free.

Gonna be honest a lot of people deep down view cheating as worse than abuse which is why so many people view downright controlling and manipulative behavior in a relationship as 100% permissible so long as that behavior is centered around either preventing or discovering cheating.

ok but this unironically works. talk about how the working class is exploited and you can basically sell full-on marxism to your average republican if you do it right. all you have to do is avoid the words "Marx," "capitalism," "socialism," "communism," "means of production," etc - just use synonyms. say "big business" or "corporate shareholder interests" instead of "capitalists." say "a government that prioritizes the needs of the working people" instead of "socialism." it WORKS. I've DONE it. the hardest sell are usually things like social and racial equity, welfare, things like that, because people have been primed with the racist/classist idea that those things are somehow unfair - but you can get your foot in the door to getting them to buy into those too if you start with class issues. read up on your theory, make sure you REALLY understand your own ideology, because that will enable you to reword it and successfully sell it.

Nothing here mentioned is radical, everything is still a compromise between labour and capital. This just is centerism.

huge fan of the depth of a good purple but another area that draws me is definitely around aquamarine/turquoise/seafoam. you can not go wrong once the green starts getting just a tinge more blue. a gal could certainly do worse than to pull over there and stay a while
