women of radblr, would you be interested in a discord server focused on autonomous reproductive health and other women’s health issues? i’m thinking of things like painful periods, PCOS, fibroids, cysts, irregular/anovulatory cycles, discussion of contraceptive methods, abortion resources, pregnancy achievement, pregnancy and postpartum, endometriosis, how to conduct self breast and cervical exams, STI prevention and treatment, the emotional issues that all of these create, etc. but there are a million other things we could discuss and share resources and experiences about!
going through any of these alone can be really difficult, overwhelming, frustrating, and terrifying. i think this could be a good way to share support, bounce around ideas, talk about what has worked for those who have been through it, and so much more! i would really love any thoughts/feedback on this idea, and to gauge interest in it. i think when we put our heads and hearts together, we can create a resourceful and supportive community that can help those of us going through something really difficult.

okay i set up a server! pm me for the link if you’d like to join ❤️🔥 i’m not sure how exactly i want to set it up in terms of channels yet, so for now it’s just one channel, but i’m thinking as issues come up i can create different channels to discuss specific things. i would love any input about this bc i’m still new to discord and i’ve never set up a group like this, but i’m hoping it can become a really beneficial resource for us!
edit sept '24 since this is at the top of my blog: this group is inactive rn but i'd like to get it going again soon. i'm moving in a few months & pretty swamped until then but i'll update with more info when i have more of a plan for the direction of this space! i'd like it to be part education, part peer-to-peer support, and maybe to organize group screenings/readings of related media... stay tuned!
