When a young girl drops out of high school and misses out on that crucial window for normal social adaptation, immediately entering an industry bordering on soft-porn creates a perfect storm. This combination completely derails her path to adulthood and locks her into arrested development. I think it’s honestly thanks to the MeToo movement that people worldwide finally started understanding the complex power dynamics and how this specific type of developmental disruption freezes personality growth.

Let's be real. Team-linked blogs used to slide into fans' DMs to leak info before it even went public, and it was always perfectly timed right before a scheduled PR drop. If that hadn't been proven, we might actually believe these teams never messed with the fandom or tried to control the narrative. But they do. It’s literally their job.

Their hands-on involvement for the sake of manipulation and control is an established fact, and the examples above are just the tip of the iceberg. So why the hell is your group of blogs defending them anyway?!

Get real, it’s nothing personal. People aren't coming to see you; they are coming to see the PR teams, and you’re just playing the role of a hub. Everyone understands that these anonymous asks are being sent directly by the pr teams. Personally, I’m just curious to see what other dirty PR tactics they are willing to deploy, and how low people will sink for a paycheck.

Just look at them. They draw inspiration from the worst examples out there, ranging from Nazi-style info wars to the persecution and dismantling of women’s spaces. It’s just like how the Church as an institution used to slander, pathologize, hunt down, and even kill Medieval Beguines.

After all, what are Modern Fandoms at their core if not Digital Beguinages?!

Both then and now, any independent, self-organized women's community that refuses to blindly swallow what is dictated from above, whether it’s a religious dogma or a Hollywood PR strategy, is perceived by the dominant system as a threat that must be either subjugated or destroyed.
