Beef Chukka is a delicious South Indian dry beef dish that is spicy and bursting with flavors.
Ingredients: 500g beef, thinly sliced. 2 onions, finely chopped. 3 tomatoes, chopped. 2 green chilies, sliced. 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste. 1 teaspoon turmeric powder. 2 teaspoons red chili powder. 1 teaspoon coriander powder. 1 teaspoon cumin powder. 1 teaspoon garam masala. Salt to taste. 2 tablespoons oil. Fresh coriander leaves for garnish.
Instructions: In a pan, heat oil and saut onions until golden brown. Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies, saut for a minute. Add tomatoes and cook until they turn mushy. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well. Add sliced beef and cook until it changes color. Cover and cook until the beef is tender, stirring occasionally. Once the beef is cooked, remove the lid and cook until the moisture evaporates and the beef turns slightly dry. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves. Serve hot with rice or roti.
