i don't know what younger person needs to hear this, but it is so valid to not want to drink alcohol at all, or to only want to drink very rarely. don't let others pressure you into joining in with those societal rituals. it is an outrage how normalized drinking alcohol is, to the point that those who choose to abstain are constantly forced to justify their private choices, be publicly questioned about what led to these choices or excluded from activities altogether. you do not ever need to justify your reasons for this. there are absolutely valid and important reasons to not drink, and nobody has a right to know your personal reasonings.

I’d also recommend SnappyDragon, especially if you’re interested in historical fashion. She’s done quite a few videos and shorts now talking about Jewish fashion history, Jewish representation in period pieces, and both historical and contemporary antisemitism.

You’re paying way more to be there and you’re likely having one of the scariest experiences of your life and you’re probably overwhelmed, in pain, unwell, having a mental crisis OR otherwise stressed. The least they can fucking do is treat you like a human being. They should you your basic human needs like water and food.

Unprofessional.) or give you some pointless runaround for 3 weeks until telling you you’re not a good fit because you only have 3 years of dick-sucking experience and they want 5. Nobody wants to work? Nobody wants to invest in employees. Nobody wants to hire, nobody wants to train, nobody wants to teach anyone new skills. Nobody wants to accept that YES, some people DO work to collect a paycheck and thats FINE, not all of us are born with a passion to be a Starbucks Manager. We’re all passionate about living and supporting ourselves and I wish bosses would stop being so lazy and rude and give my friends jobs for $20000 an hour
