thinking about how the cosmetics industry would have been devastated if widespread masking is still a thing in society. lipstick? useless. foundation? transfers too much and sales plummet. the only survivors would probably be eye products and maybe lip balm. i would not be surprised if Big Cosmetics (TM) also lobbied for early relaxation of pandemic policies.
