i know Jax is controversial but in my opinion, it's a lil refreshing to see a queer character just not be perfect and infact flawed and messy and vulnerable, ESPECIALLY a transfem character who's depicted with flaws.

i have my personal gripes with tadc but like hopefully this can expose more people to the fact that queer/trans people are not perfect and infact are flawed and complex beings who can and will hurt people and themselves

On bluesky I'm on a blocklist for being a transfeminist and I almost never post on bluesky. I'm not sure how much I ever talked about that subject in the first place. But alas, such is the plight of a self respecting tgirl. Also, I was called the R slur for posting latina edits. Bluesky truly is twitter for tumblr people.

Saw a post that said "if you call yourself a misandrist then I know you're weird about trans women who don't pass" and like. Those are women. Like if someone is a piece of shit to non passing trans women that's transphobia. Not some made up oppression for the men. Trans women are women. Stop trying to claim otherwise.

The point of feminism is the liberation of women from the patriarchy. I am not surre who told you that the point of feminism is this egalitarian nonsense, but "we deserve the same legal rights as men, such as right to own things and voting," a big cause of first wave feminism in the USA and the West in general, is not, "absolute egalitarianism in every interaction is the way we want to live." Being able to be heard politically (to the extent that you can be heard as a mere voting citizen in a liberal democratic system) and being able to work towards economic independence were crucial to materially liberating women from the patriarchical society specifically of the Capitalist Liberal Democratic West in the 19th and early 20th century, not just slogan for stepping stones towards egalitarianism at all times in human history.
