We talk a lot about traveling for love but nobody talks about traveling for your friendship soulmate, even though that’s a version of love too. At this point, I’m not just a hopeless romantic, I’m a hopeless platonic 😭

At my big age, I’m still looking for a best friend. Same city, similar age range, similar stage of life, no kids, likes to get out of the house sometimes, understands that sometimes I want to talk on the phone for an hour and sometimes I disappear into my own little world, can be spontaneous without needing a month of planning, and genuinely wants a real friendship. Why is finding a best friend in your 30s starting to feel harder than dating? 😭😂
