an unsuspecting Grendel is about to be eaten by giant crochet tarantula. however, if you prevent this, he will starve and die. what do you do? do you intervene saving one creature, and in doing so, condemn another creature of god to a horrible death? or do you allow nature to take its course and let her be devoured?
