i don’t like this analogy anyway but whenever i hear someone try to explain why Jews aren’t indigenous to Israel via a metaphorical house i’m like dawg it’s so much worse than you could ever imagine??? “imagine someone showed up at your house and decided it belonged to them bc sky daddy said so” no actually imagine someone showed up at a house you occupied but did not claim to own until very recently and said “hi i built this house and was unlawfully evicted and i know you had no part in that but uh it’s still my house?? and also some of my extended family still live here from what i can tell but they aren’t allowed in any of the common areas so that’s. cool. and all our family heirlooms and portraits and sentimental items are still on display but it seems you are variously claiming they belong to you despite evidence to the contrary. look dude i don’t actually need you to move out i would just like to be able to live in my house and not worry about vandalism or unlawful eviction or anything again.” and then some fucko from another neighborhood pops out of the bushes and says “ummmmm actually i’ve never seen you before so you don’t own this house. that deed isn’t a legally binding contract because i said so. the current occupants are the only people who have ever lived here and actually they built this house and you should be shot for suggesting otherwise. no you cannot build a new house or live anywhere else.”

The message you see repeatedly is that Jews are never allowed to have anything for themselves. Obviously, there is the grand tradition of Jewish property and money seizure, but also like. History. Food. Culture. Connection to a physical location on earth. Their temples. Their ancestry. It’s “greedy” for them to want… their stuff.

You know, I’m not Jewish, but I really think I and my fellow non-Jews need to take a step back, notice that basically every Jewish holiday these days opens with antisemitic violence and Jews being attacked or killed, and realize that it’s not only a serious issue but that it’s our issue to fix.

Yeah, in general, Judaism is one of the least "wanting people dead" religions out there. You would have a hard time finding a more pro-"life as a concept" religion than Judaism.
