These fish tacos are great for any event because they are tasty and easy to make. The fresh toppings and sour lime juice go great with the crispy fish.
Ingredients: 1 lb white fish fillets such as cod or tilapia. 1/4 cup all-purpose flour. 1 teaspoon ground cumin. 1 teaspoon chili powder. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder. 1/2 teaspoon paprika. Salt and pepper to taste. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 8 small corn tortillas. 1 cup shredded cabbage. 1/2 cup diced tomatoes. 1/4 cup chopped cilantro. 1 avocado, sliced. 1 lime, cut into wedges.
Instructions: Put the flour, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a shallow dish. Mix them together. Cover each fish fillet with the flour mix and shake off any extra. Put olive oil in a big skillet and heat it over medium-high heat. Fish fillets should be cooked for three to four minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and done all the way through. You can warm the tortillas in the oven or a separate pan. To make tacos, put a fish fillet on each tortilla and then add shredded cabbage, diced tomatoes, cilantro, and avocado slices on top. Put lime wedges on the side so that you can squeeze them over the tacos.
