chicken afritada (chicken stewed in tomato sauce with carrots and potatoes)
pork kare-kare (soft meat, main feature is the savory peanut sauce)
adobong pusit (small squids cooked with onions, garlic, soy sauce, and vinegar)
chicken pastil (shredded cooked chicken (can be spicy) added on top of rice)
sopas (soup made from macaroni noodles, mirepoix + garlic, meat, and evap. milk)
chicken pastel (adapted from spain's pastel de pollo, creamy and wonderful)
pork sinigang (sour and savory! we add labanos (radishes) and kangkong to ours)
pancit lomi (thick noodles in a rich broth. i had a bowl once and ascended)
tosilog (pork tocino served w/ an egg and rice. usually served as breakfast)
bistek (thin cuts of beef/pork cooked w/ calamansi, soy sauce, and onion)
