The Trump administration is spending more than $100 million to fight the "emergency" of "white genocide" in South Africa.
Every single one of the 599 refugees the US admitted last month was a white South African, according to data the State Departmentβs Bureau of Population released Friday.
In fact, so was every other refugee admitted this year. Since October 1, 2025, the US has accepted 6,668 refugees. Of those, 6,665 were white South Africans. Threeβadmitted last Novemberβwere from Afghanistan. No other refugees were admitted.
And this is only half the story. They are also revoking the legal status of existing immigrants granted protected status due to fleeing dangerous conditions in their home countriesβ¦ and letβs look at which countries they are:
Since Inauguration Day, more than 1.5 million immigrants have either lost or will lose their temporary legal status, including their work au

Iβve rewritten this ask a bazillion times, but itβs something thatβs been weighing on me, especially with all the many fandom dramas going on. Iβm just afraid Iβll sound ignorant, or that Iβm asking permission to watch racist shit, but I am genuinely trying to be as supportive as possible.
What is the best course of action when a creator or game or show or book says something or does something racist? Or has some characters or themes that are suspect? There are times when the answer is super clear, when creators are past the point of forgiveness. But what about single racist acts? When should apologies be taken seriously? What should I do if people are split online about the decision? What is the best way to get as many available opinions as I can? When is it time to press eject on the entire series? How can I best support Black people still within the fandom?
I promise Iβm not asking you to hold my hand or to give me permission, I just want a basis. A general guide. Sometimes I feel frozen, because I donβt know what the best course of action is.
Well let me ask you some questions in response that might help put your panic in context:
1) why is "a single racist act" more acceptable? Why is the amount of times one has been antiblack racist the standard, and not also the impact, as well as the perpetrator's response to that single act?
2) what is YOUR standard for "too far"? That is, what is YOUR line for allowing antiblackness to slide until it is "too bad"?
3) Are you okay that the victims of said antiblackness who have a different standard of "too far" will judge you accordingly?
4) Here's what Black fans consider to be a good apology. How often have you accepted less than? Are you okay with continuing to do that for the sake of entertainment?
5) What makes you think YOU- if you are not a target of that racism- have the right to make that call of what's an "acceptable" apology?
6) Do you have Black friends within fandom? Do you listen to their opinions when they tell you what they need? Why do you hold anyone else's opinion as valuable when they are not the target group in question?

Fan comics of the eridian welcoming committtee by @justcakethanks - they are a work of art. The committee understands that fire is unsafe for humans, so the hosuewarming was done outside the biodome for Grace to watch. In the second one, they misinterpreted the statement 'we love you to death'. Likely inspired by Valentines day cards.
These were fun to make

Calling for help.
Being asexual and racist is embarassing as fuck. Being racist at all is obviously embarassing as fuck but the amount of racism and especially antiblackness i have been seeing from asexuals recently is obscene.
One of the only asexual activists is Yasmin Benoit, a Black woman. She has raised so much awareness for the community. She was the first asexual person to lead Pride in London, she started the #thisiswhatasexuallookslike movement and is THE leading voice for the community.
And you all will celebrate international asexuality day on April 6th but we wouldn't even have that if she hadn't cofounded it.
Edit: why are you all too scared to repost this. Cmon. Be vocal about being against racism
