Pinkie Pie w/ Depression

These are actually combinations of all my favorite versions of them I've seen over the years, plus original ideas for their designs me and my best friend were coming up with waaay back in 2007 (every time I have updated my redesign for April, she becomes more undeniable as a Black woman, which I'm happy with~). For April, I wanted to combine both the strong and soft features I've seen with her, which are both beautiful; she has a broad nose and a strong chin, sort of a rounded shape to her face/jawline, a body-type that is a balance between short/sturdy and graceful/agile. Her skin-tone is a dark warm-brown with a splash of freckles visible across her nose and cheeks, and her hair is a short bob with lots of thick curls (I had fun drawing the details in there, and adding a golden-red shine). I also like combining some of her different jobs; her main source of income for a while is being TV reporter, but she runs a family antique shop as well (eventually, she goes back to college to study science and archeology). We also can't forget; she becomes a powerful martial artist and hero! This girl really DOES do it all~

My version of Casey is Greek-Italian and Canadian First Nations (he usually wears his hair loose when he's just relaxing, buts it in a single braid for vigilante adventures, and will do more specific hairstyles for special occasions). Just like April, I wanted to lovingly depict his features; curved shape to his nose, sharp cheekbones and chin, and expressive thick eyebrows. He's such a fun character; he plays All Of The Sports (but especially loves hockey), he's a vigilante, his best friends are teenagers (who are mutant ninja turtles, don't forget), he's very passionate about helping poor people, he fights super-villains and space invaders and secret agents and crime-boss guys, he adapts to all this nonsense so fast! Casey is maybe most well-known for having a fiery temper like Raph (which is why they are bros), but he's also very compassionate, not afraid to show his soft side, and mature enough to think things through a little more~
